Platelet-rich plasma
Platelet-rich plasma, also known as the 'vampire lift', is an innovative treatment that uses the body's natural regenerative potential. It consists of taking a small amount of the patient's blood and then centrifuging it in a special device to obtain plasma with a high concentration of platelets. These contain numerous growth factors that stimulate repair and regeneration processes in the tissues. Injected back into the skin, the plasma stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, improves microcirculation and triggers the natural mechanisms of cell renewal.
About the treatment
The advantage of this treatment is that it is entirely autologous: the material comes from the patient's own blood, which makes it fully biocompatible and carries no risk of allergic reactions. Mesotherapy with platelet-rich plasma is safe, minimally invasive and needs no long recovery, while giving natural effects without changing facial features.
The effects of the therapy appear gradually: the skin becomes better hydrated and more elastic, gaining a healthy tone and a fresh look. After the treatment: what to expect
Right after the treatment the skin is red, slightly swollen and may be tender, and small bumps are visible at the injection points. The redness and swelling usually go away within 2-3 days. Minor bruises may last about a week.
For 24 hours do not wash your face or put makeup on it. For 48 hours avoid saunas, solariums, intense exercise and alcohol. Use a cream with SPF. After a scalp treatment you can wash your hair the next day at the earliest.
The first results show after about a week, and the skin keeps improving over the following weeks as the body rebuilds collagen and elastin.

You usually need a series of 4 treatments, and one takes about an hour.

We do not do platelet-rich plasma during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with blood diseases and clotting disorders, with blood thinners, or with anaemia.
